Couch Color With Dark Wood Floors

Nothing has occurred that La Baule

Ah, La Baule ! Great moment in literature and friendship will be remembered dumbfounded - to paraphrase Matthew Larner. And as the project Brigitte and Bernard Martin - who also created and run editions Joca Seria - not to keep those moments from the beautiful stones of the place but to share, you can already see this video featuring excerpts:

Others will soon be posted here . "So I

, among other things, heard Lola Lafon accompanied by musicians Olivier Lambert and Ivica Bogdanici, Inculte seen in action, discovered the sound work of Philippe Adam, Pierre Senges books - shame on me but it's never too late, is not it? - The universe of Mexican writer David Toscana and could drink good tequila, etc..

You understood, the Writers Festival on the seafront, in La Baule, is a little paradise: a coherent programming, designed by Brigitte and Bernard Martin, initiators and leaders of the festival, providing almost all Bernard - this year, Alain Nicolas, critical Humanity, was also Guest - meetings with writers, which can take the measure of his enthusiasm and aesthetic sense of the project an appropriate place (the chapel of Sainte-Anne) and a warm welcome, a bookseller committed Gerard Lambert - A voice in library in Saint-Nazaire, a public alert, curious, loyal, year after year at the festival.

So we were like cake trays - 'in clover' is not very Baulois ... and I am sure that Oliver Rohe iodine appreciate this adaptation - taking advantage, in the interstices, "the most beautiful beach in Europe "- I quote from local name: as Corsican, I am obliged to note that this is a quote while recognizing that it is almost as beautiful as Palombaggia or rather it is as beautiful as Palombaggia but not the same, you see ...?

Are Konad Stampers Available In Stores

Crew

With mates, finally, I mean, with distinguished colleagues, my peers, writers, this year we had the chance to be invited to the festival in Writers seaside , an event organized by Editions Joca Seria which takes place in La Baule, from 14 to 18 July 2010 - the program here.

I'm glad, because 1 - I love reading (my words or those of others, out loud, in public, of course I also read it out loud, I'm not crazy to paraphrase Bessette, finally, those of others, I mean, mine, I do not spend my time to reread them offstage ...) 2 - I've never been to La Baule and this will be my only exit in sea "of my studious summer, and more ...; 3 - I find her good friends (hence my joke incipit) and I meet other writers, which I work. In short, everything is for the best in the best of worlds.

I also had the honor and advantage to be interviewed by the magazine Quentin Périnel Kostar , released in Loire Atlantique, a free news reminiscent of artistic and cultural creation of the western - In this issue # 21 Summer, you read two pages also include Pierrick Sorin and a great interview with the group Sexy Sushi (which I've already mentioned here but I manage to find more when I listen ... always "not aflame bitch," " Hibernatus / DVD "and another" Fokjaretdeboire "loop ....) On the occasion of the release of their new album (oh the good news!) Cyril . With Quentin

Périnel of Kostar , so we had began talking at greater length, mailboxes via intermediaries, that what appears in the magazine ... So, let me reproduce here her questions and my answers. Meet at La Baule!

° What kinds of books are you taking to the beach?

Indeed, at the beach, I carry more of a sarong and flippers ... Reading is one of my trades and I find it quite violent to do outdoors, the light is too violent, sand intrudes between pages, we always end up more or less leave traces on Monoi pretty baggy carefully chosen by the editor, and then you have to monitor the eye of a nephew who bathes, which is hardly conducive to the concentration ... I prefer to bask quietly, listening to the waves, making pies sand with the kids and sipping coconut water. But certainly, I can still come to them to take books: At the piano Jean Echenoz ; Three Lives by Gertrude Stein; No Tomorrow Vivant Denom; Stop writing David Markson; Lamiel Stendhal; the Journal Kurt Cobain; Bunker anatomy Claro; Choice of words Clément Rosset; Salammbo Flaubert; Before the time Georges Didi-Huberman; Psychotic Reactions of Lester Bangs ; Remedies love Ovid; Celestino before dawn of Reinaldo Arenas; Moinous & Lollipop Raymond Federman; The Funghimiracolette Olivier Mellano; Great Expectations by Kathy Acker ...

° there a book (or several) that you would be ashamed to have read, and having loved?

No, I have no aesthetic sense of shame for the simple reason that I applaud the diversity of tastes. And there is even less shame to read a book that we find deplorable, it helps identify the cursor's predilections - though it is obviously not required to win races too masochistic this kind.

What writer
° raucous media are you charismatic? Or unbearable?

I'm not sensitive to the charismatic individual media, probably because I control myself well enough rhetoric and Photoshop. And I like even less hammer my contemporaries. Especially since there are enough works that move, disturb, fascinate - contemporary works that can be discovered every day in good bookshops - to get a taste of untoward effects rapid obsolescence that often mobilize booths and displays.

° What author could write your biography?

Who could have this crazy idea one day? Should this happen, it would probably be a hundred or two hundred years ... Maybe a young author who refuses to submit to the formatting ambient Laureli has discovered the collection at the BNF, and these books will have the reinforced his disobedience, then he decides to write a biography of their publisher who also committed writings. But he will refuse his manuscript because even romanticized - Children within the "blue nights" of Corsica 80s, the picturesque Paris festive years 2000 ... - this is not enough vendor, then it will put online for free, for the beauty of the gesture.

° The book that you would have wanted to write?

There are many, and I'll probably forget Ulysses by James Joyce; SAR chief nurse BS Johson; Tower Helen Bessette; Louve low Denis Roche Bouvard and Pecuchet Gustave Flaubert Life and Opinions of Tristram Shandy by Laurence Sterne ; Rose dust Jean-Jacques Schuhl; Roses and leek Arno Schmidt; Cape at worst Samuel Beckett; Yapou of human cattle Shozo Numa ...

° unadaptable book to the movies?

Salmigondi Gilbert Sorrentino ... Although ...

° A writer on the seafront is a writer on holiday?

A little. But a writer is never on vacation ...

Grannys Suck Black Cock

Ostrich

Yes, well, okay, hey, it's not worth taking your vuvuzelas yelling for me in the eardrum, yes, I noticed I forsake Rougelarsenrose , I am even more to the gym and some are about to stab me so I have emails late ... Ben Vui, Vui Vui Vui, but you know, I gave blood and lymph Laureli In the interstices, I try to flank a good kick in the ass to move this fucking Arles begins to become my current book, and then I negotiated hard with cluster headache face lately and a lot of little worries health cascade that remind me that despite my eternal adolescent mind ... well I still 34 years old and a bit fragile little thing with a light bulb manufacturing defect inside, I start paying my sleepless nights. Shit. But I assure you, I'm so full of good resolutions that I can play in a remake of St Teresa . I go to yoga - no more plans: I run one hour, I continue to pump 30, 200 abs, and then afterwards I'll work for twelve hours ... before running off to a party gin darkdog ... no, now it breathing techniques and stress the deep muscles - I do not let my papers lying around - well, I mean, I open the mail from the bank and everything ... ... from time to time - I take the choir because it's still super foot, singing, I smoke two cigarettes less than usual - must remain rational, though, in his good resolutions - I 'm more present for the cat, sorry for the cats - I almost forget my future brother-cat Popol Vuh or Ezra Pound (the name has not yet been chosen by his happy master) and then above, huh, I take finally, I try.

A small summary of previous episodes, anyway, since the month of June was full of readings and other literary events.

Saturday, June 12, was the meeting-reading about the work of Helen Bessette the bookstore MK2 Quai de Loire in Paris during the festival in full and on an invitation from the bookseller of the place, Quetteville Sophia, with Emmanuelle Clément, Sophie Quetteville, Julien Doussinault and bibi; superb readings Ida or delirium, La Tour, mothered by Sophie ... Quetteville - so, who not content be a great bookstore is a great reader-actress - and Emmanuelle Clément - beautiful actress that you will find soon on stage - are so amazed that all those who managed to get up that day we thought we would do it again and even, like the film so as to benefit everyone.

Sunday, June 13, it was my day with a marathon reading of Labour River to 15 pm as part of the periphery of the market for poetry and in letters from Paris, where I discovered the wonderful work of poetic Laurence Vielle and listen, for the umpteenth time - but we never tire of it - the big Serge Pey .

Then at 18 pm at CentQuatre (always in the context of Paris in words), I read from Hush, fur and my aunt Rachel The carcasses of Raymond Federman . It was a funny moment, terribly moving. It was the first time I heard someone else read the texts of Raymond ... And that someone else was me. Though I have never really nervous - I went on stage since age 6, it vaccinia ... - I was a little terrified to bring these texts that I love so much ... And then the magic moinous has made and I gave everything I had, and I assumed that never accepts when reading my own lyrics: emotion.

Friday, June 25, was in Marseilles, the CIPM, on an invitation from Jean-François Bory as part of "the evening of users of the CIPM," with Jean-Noel Orengo and Pierre Menard . A beautiful evening that allowed me to rehear Pierre Menard and discover the texts of Jean-Noel Orengo. You can preview the readings on the website of the CIPM here, here and there . Nathalie Quintane , Remi and Mary Didier da Silva made the trip ... And then it also allowed me to finally visit the library The Story of the Eye ... which is opposite the caterer Georges Bataille (yes Yes), in Marseille, a bookshop where we want to splurge for her credit card and where it is always something going on - side Laureli, The Story of the Eye received Didier da Silva and Julian of Abrigeon.

Tuesday, June 29, Jean-Michel Espitallier remade The Java , yes, after Java at Java you follow? With Frank Smith , David Sillanoli and The All , Jacques Barbaut and Djulee Jay , and Bibi, as part of the residence of Jean-Michel Ile-de-France and Device Market for poetry. It was also very nice. I loved reading Guantanamo , alas, my friggin migraine allowed me to enjoy music garage-punk of all that through one floor away.

Observable Brain Inpairment

SIDE OF SPAGHETTI: "IT WAS ONCE THE LEGION", DICK RICHARDS, 1976.

Distributed by Gaumont in France in early 1978, he was once Legion ( March or Die ) , is a production of 1976. This co-production is largely Anglo-Saxon directed by Dick Richards, American filmmaker and author of two feature films like, The Culpepper Cattle Co. (1972), a western, and especially Farewell My Lovely (1975 ), a reinterpretation of film noir and Raymond Chandler's world praised by critics.

Richards uses a third reflection on the cinema of the past, by replaying a sub-genre well codified, as in Hollywood films in French pre-war film Legionnaire investing adventure film, love, and the epic film of men. The vicissitudes of Legionnaires in Morocco in 1918, evoke the Wild West. Foreign Legion and Moroccan tribes replace blue tunics and Indian tribes. The leader of men, captain of the Foreign Legion (Gene Hackman), is also a former army officer of USA.

Richards, with substantial financial resources, surrounded by a few international stars: Gene Hackman, whose astonishing breakthrough in the 1970s recognized performer of some individualists social breakdown ( Scarecrow ) or disillusioned by the order that they contribute to establish ( French Connection ), Max von Sydow comes from Ingmar Bergman but made a notable appearance in Three Days of the Condor (1974), Catherine Deneuve, French touch distant and elegant, oscillates from one role to another between the cinemas of the world of Luis Bunuel Robert Aldrich (The city Hazards , 1975).

The surprise of the film is the role of handsome legionnaire told Terence Hill spent internationally in film-budget (very) high by My Name is Nobody , just three years ago and true selling point of the film. Hill, who by this movie, thinking rooted in Hollywood, took over from Gary Cooper and Jean Gabin in a role tailor-made. This will be his last dramatic interpretation. The relative failure of the blockbuster Dick Richards puts an end to its voluntary Hollywood career.

The supporting roles are equally treated: Rufus, Marcel Bozzuffi, French actors very "local color" in the Legion, Ian Holm, to name only the best known. Maurice Jarre, composer of the great frescoes by David Lean wrote the music. John Alcott, chief operator of Stanley Kubrick, well known for his scholarly research on lighting the candle in Barry Lyndon (1975) completes to give high gloss film buff-end to the ambitious undertaking by images carefully composed and lit.

Shot mainly in Spain, in the heart of the spaghetti western territories in the provinces of Almeria and Granada, and for a small party in Morocco, Enchanted Legion s' requires, over time, just as both nostalgic homage to the cinema of the 30s and 40s and as testimony of what cinema could still afford to produce and 35 years ago: a conventional imaging, cultured mirror Hollywood dreams lost, for an audience sensitive to the exotic scenery of the powerful film, but contained by well-established codes. Enchanted Legion itself becomes the archetype of a movie over.

Enchanted Legion , narrated by Roland Fougeres CineRevue No. 7, February 16, 1978. The French title of March or Die echoes of Sergio Leone films, in which he borrows a few places and reputations (Terence Hill).

Morocco in Spain: 140-2054 Baldwin locomotive on the line of rail "Estacion La Calahorra-Mines Alquife "Altiplano Marquesado (Grenada), circa September 1976, three years after the confrontation at the same place, Jack Beauregard with The Wild Bunch ( My Name is Nobody, Tonino Valerii , 1973). A place Memory for Terence Hill and Gene Hackman turn came a few years ago The Scavengers (1971), Don Medford and an air of déjà vu for the viewer.

Fuerte El Condor around October 1976.

Fuerte El Condor , around April 1989-1990.

Dick Richards recyle Fort El Condor , Llanos del Duque Gérgal (Almeria), restored for the occasion by the English team of Gil Parrondo, designer Oscar winner for Patton, another big blockbuster filmed in Almeria (Franklin J. Shaffner, 1969). The work began five weeks before the shooting almeriense, began September 23, 1976. Enchanted Legion marks the twilight of the prestigious productions in scenery and figuration. The film is jointly 1.33 and 1.85, expected for both the widescreen and already the TV screen, the final outlet and natural exploitation of the film.

Tristana and Trinita: Catherine Deneuve and Terence Hill or the femme fatale and the romantic wanderer. It is not certain that the public Terence Hill in its expectations, has not been upset by this game too seriously, confusing, on stereotypes foreign to the universe of comic Italian actor.

Max von Sydow in the sacred tomb, indeed reconstituted in the remains of the Alcazaba of Almeria, around September-October 1976. The actor gives a touch of Bergman film of intellectual men.

Terence Hill, then at the box office rival Steve McQueen, Clint Eastwood or Paul Newman. A comic hero transported to the dramatic heroism.

Django and his gun Legionnaires in uniform: in less than 10 years, Terence Hill movies going broke Ferdinando Baldi ( Django, prepare your coffin , 1967) at the Hollywood epic.

These sequences are filmed in Morocco, but it breathes like an air film of Little Big Horn ... Enchanted Legion together motion picture film and cinema, working as a game of Russian dolls. Gene Hackman evokes memories in the viewer, in 1976, the figure of Popeye, lucid and disillusioned cop, from French Connection .

Curiously, in the wake of March or Die in 1977, Marty Feldman, collaborator and actor Mel Brooks, also transposes the story of Beau Geste in a delirious parody (My Beautiful Legionnaire ), which was to be originally filmed in Almeria, where Feldman, by using a simple trick lies opposite Gary Cooper ...

Is Getting Genital Warts Removed Painful

"THE WESTERN ITALIAN" LAURENCE Staiger, TONY WILLIAMS.

The Western Italian , coverage of the French edition (1977).

If the work of Laurence Staig and Tony Williams is not, in 1975, the first synthesis devoted to the genre, it is probably the first to offer a panorama of the spaghetti western as onsite a book.

Published in England under the title of program: Italian Western The Opera of Violence, (1975), the work of Staiger and Williams quickly became a benchmark often used by the successors. Its architecture draws the prototype of all subsequent publication dedicated to the Italian westerns. Staiger and Williams open many lanes on the images and themes specific to the type subsequently developed with varying degrees of originality. Basically, nothing new will be written that they have already more or less explicitly stated. Particular attention is given to music.

Luckily, a small French-language publisher has the right idea to translate the book in 1977 and despite a confidential distribution, Le Journal de Spirou actually a short form advertising critical praise. The Italian Western , Staig of and Williams becomes a must for the amateur, in the desert of publications devoted to the then European westen.

now 45 years old, The Western Italian goes well the test of time, despite the small errors due to technical criticism of the time: handwritten notes taken in theaters obscure the light of a small flashlight, and tape recording or soundtracks.

The authors present a list of 200 films, sometimes correct: Now it is called Plata is not really a western, even if the team Colizzi, Spencer and Hill found there, some titles are not translated in French, some dates correspond to the international release of a film, not the date of production and filming.

If the opportunity presents itself, the spaghetti western aficionado of should not hesitate to acquire Italian Western The Opera of Violence. It also remains a valuable testimony on a perception of contemporary spaghetti western genre.
